Listing is for a vintage Tag Heuer 2000 series (reference 972.006) that has had a full case service as described below. The dial has some darkening and other patina but it really looks the vintage part with its burnt tritium lume.
Reliable, fully functional, and ready to wear. This is an excellent “daily driver” watch that will perform well in almost any environment and looks great doing it. Classic styling in a reliable package. No winding so just grab and go!
Case size: ~40 without crown. ~42mm with crown
•New battery which should be good for two years or more.
•The movement has been replaced at some point with a Swiss ETA movement and is functioning as intended. It is the same model that Tag used originally in these models as well as many other for decades.
•The crystal is new and flawless.
•The bezel insert is original and in good condition!
•This watch comes equipped with the original Tag Heuer signed bracelet which fits up to a 6-7/8” wrist.
•All seals (case back, crown, and crystal gasket) were replaced. This watch features a screw down crown. The watch was pressure tested to 30m after the case service.
