Listing is for a nice vintage Tag Heuer 980.029L that has been serviced as described below. The PVD and gold plating are in very good condition with little more than minor wear. Most models like this are heavily worn and this watch is like a time capsule!
Reliable, fully functional, and ready to wear. This is an excellent “daily driver” watch that will perform well in almost any environment and looks great doing it. Classic styling in a reliable package. No winding so just grab and go!
Case size: ~37/38mm without crown.
•New battery which should be good for two years or more.
•The movement is original Tag Heuer signed ESA and it was dated 1986. The papers are dated 1987.
•The crystal is new and flawless. It has been substantially upgraded to a sapphire crystal which is nearly unscratchable!
•The bezel insert is original and in very good condition for its age.
•This watch comes with the original Tag Heuer signed jubilee bracelet which is in nice condition for its age. The bracelet fits up to a 6.5” wrist and 3 extra links are included and can be added if needed.
•The case back gasket was replaced during the service. This watch features a push-in crown. This has not been pressure tested due to the crown type.
