Listing is for a nice vintage pre-Tag Heuer 980.014. This is the second in the series and typically referred to as an economy model due to its plexi crystal rather than mineral as used on the thick case models. This model still features a solid stainless case and bezel unlike the later economy models that had chrome plated brass cases and all aluminum bezels. 
This watch case has been professionally serviced. Fully functional and ready to wear.
Case size: ~38mm without crown (~40mm with crown and crown guards).
•The case is in nice condition for its age. Signs of use are present but not abuse. It is a stunning watch in person and black dial is great looking despite the edge wear as pictured.
•New battery which should be good for two years or more.
•The movement is original and appears very clean. It is signed Heuer and is running correctly at the time of our service. The movement was serviced a couple of years ago according to the previous owner. 
•The crystal is the original plexiglass crystal and it is very nice for its age. These are really special in the 1000 series model line and add an extra does of “vintage flare” compared to the flat mineral glass crystals on the other variants. 
•The bezel insert is original and in nice condition for its age.
•This watch comes with the original Heuer bracelet that is currently sized for a 7.6” wrist (3 links were added after the photos were taken). Additional links are available for $12 each if needed. We can also exchange the Heuer bracelet for one of our new aftermarket bracelets which would reduce the price by $200. 
•All seals (case back and crown gasket) were replaced during the movement service. This watch was pressure tested to 30m prior to listing. The crown is a screw down crown.
