Listing is for a vintage Heuer 980.023L with a lovely matte black dial. 
This exterior of this watch is in honest vintage condition and appears to be unpolished. 
The watch was disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, and reassembled with fresh gaskets and a new sapphire crystal, a drastic improvement over the original mineral crystal and extremely costly due to its top-hat stye shape. 
•The ETA quartz movement is new and is functioning as intended. This movement comes with a 1yr warranty again manufacturer mechanical defects. 
•The crystal is a new sapphire crystal which is in excellent condition. 
•This watch comes with the original bracelet which is Tag Heuer signed (which is typical of the L versions) and is currently sized to comfortably fit a 7.75” wrist. 
•All seals (crown and crystal gaskets) were replaced. It has been pressure tested to 30m after the service.
