Listing is for a vintage (pre-Tag) Heuer 980.033 that has been restored and customized. It is reliable, fully functional, and ready to wear.


This is an excellent “daily driver” watch that will perform well in almost any environment and looks great doing it. Classic styling in a reliable package. No winding so just grab and go! This watch has had the original chrome plating removed and the case has been refinished to the original specs (polished on the sides and brushed on the top).


It was created to resemble a Wolf of Wall Street Tag Heuer watch but it will never chip or have the plating wear through because it is solid brass! You can wear it and it will gain a patina to it or just rub it with polishing cloth and brighten it up to the bright gold that you see in the picture with little to no real effort.


Case size: ~38mm without crown (~40mm with crown and crown guards).


•New battery which should be good for two years or more.


•The Swiss ETA movement is new and comes with a one year mechanical movement warranty against manufacturing defects.


•The crystal is new and flawless. It has been substantially upgraded to a sapphire crystal which is nearly unscratchable!


•The bezel insert is new and it’s one of our faithfully replicated custom inserts which matches the original style and texture.


•This watch comes with a the pictured new leather strap. If you would like a different color please contact us and we can let you know what is available.


•All seals (case back, crown, and crystal gasket) were replaced. This watch features a screw down crown. The watch was pressure tested to 30m after the case service.
