Listing is for a vintage (pre-Tag) Heuer 980.026 that has been restored. Reliable, fully functional, and ready to wear. This is an excellent “daily driver” watch that will perform well in almost any environment and looks great doing it. Classic styling in a reliable package. No winding so just grab and go! This watch has had the original PVD coating removed and new DLC coating professionally applied. This coating is much more durable than the 80’s PVD coatings. Both the case and bezel feature this new coating.
Case size: ~38mm without crown (~40mm with crown and crown guards).•New battery which should be good for two years or more.•The Swiss ESA movement is clean and functioning as intended.•The crystal is new and flawless. It has been substantially upgraded to a sapphire crystal which is nearly unscratchable!
•The bezel insert is new and it’s one of our faithfully replicated custom inserts which matches the original style and texture.•This watch comes with a the pictured new leather strap. If you would like a different color please contact us and we can let you know what is available.•All seals (case back, crown, and crystal gasket) were replaced. This watch features a screw down crown. The watch was pressure tested to 30m after the case service.•Get it Fast!
