This listing is for a clean and serviced Technos Sky Diver (same case as Tag Heuer 980.006).
The matte black dial is very nice and super clean! The hands look great as well with wonderfully patina’d lume. The seconds hand is also a very unique feature.
Reliable, fully functional, and ready to wear. This watch has been professionally serviced as described below.
Case size: ~42 without crown (~44 with crown and crown guards). The case on this example is nice for its age. It shows use but not abuse.
•The movement is the original ESA Quartz and it is running as intended. It is clean and corrosion free. The movement was serviced while apart.
•The crystal has been substantially upgraded to a sapphire crystal which is nearly unscratchable! It is in excellent shape
•The bezel is a rather unique for the time period “Bakelite” bezel insert with lumed indices!
•This watch comes with a solid link oyster bracelet with which will fit up to a 7.25” wrist.
•All seals (case back, crown, and crystal gasket) were replaced. This watch features a screw down crown. Pressure tested to 30m at the time of service.
