Listing is for a nice vintage Tag Heuer 980.029 that has been fully serviced as described below. 

Reliable, fully functional, and ready to wear. This is an excellent “daily driver” watch that will perform well in almost any environment and looks great doing it. Classic styling in a reliable package. No winding so just grab and go!

This is a PVD coated watch that has some coating wear as pictured. It presents well as a vintage piece and has had its case fully disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and reassembled. 

Case size: ~37/38mm without crown. 


•New battery which should be good for two years or more.


•The movement is the original ETA Quartz, Tag Heuer signed and dated 1988. 

•The crystal is new and flawless. It has been substantially upgraded to a sapphire crystal which is nearly unscratchable!


•The bezel insert is new and in excellent condition. 

•This watch comes with the pictured leather strap. We usually have any strap options so if you’d like to see alternatives please contact us PRIOR to purchase. 


•All seals (case back, crown, and crystal gasket) were replaced. This watch features a screw down crown. The watch was pressure tested to 30m after the case service.
