Listing is for a very nice and rare set (WITH box and warranty papers) of a vintage Tag Heuer 980.913 1000 series. 

Also of note regarding red Tag 1000s:

Don’t be fooled by the other so-called 980.913 models floating around for half the price. These are lower end Tag models with repainted dials and other modifications to pass them off as the real deal. See our Insta post (jkbenn02 ) about this very subject showing examples of the fakes. Details include bright green lume, non-sunburst dials, shallow caseback reference number engraving, non-original hands, etc.

This watch has been professionally serviced as described below. Reliable, fully functional, and ready to wear.


Case size: ~37.5mm without crown (~40mm with crown and crown guards).

•New battery which should be good for two years or more.

•The movement is original and signed Tag Heuer 1987

•The crystal is new and flawless. It has been substantially upgraded to a sapphire crystal which is nearly unscratchable!


•The bezel insert is original and in excellent condition for its age. 

•This watch comes with the original Tag Heuer jubilee bracelet which is in excellent condition and should fit up to a 7.5” wrist.

•All seals (case back, crown, and crystal gasket) were replaced. This watch features a screw down crown. The watch was pressure tested  after the service.
