Heuer 756 Automatic 28mm Ladies Womens 1000 diver

Listing is for a nice vintage Heuer ladies 756 (precursor to the 1000 series) dive watch.

This is a very rare Pre-TAG Model and is certain to be the only one in any crowd. These are hard to find especially in good running condition with a fully serviced case (see details below).

This was the watch famously worn by Bo Derek (and nothing else, Google it {nsfw}).

This was the first in a long series of robust and stylish dive watches and were initially made in France by Monnin. The "Monnin" watches are quickly gaining value amongst collectors since they are the genesis of Heuer dive watches and not many were sold or survived over the years.

This watch was most likely made around 1980. It features a low 4-digit serial number and the case is marked with the 756 reference number.

This watch features a unique (to the 756 models) cathedral style hour hand and a lollipop central seconds hand. The later swiss versions featured the regular Mercedes hour hand and regular seconds hand. The dial has a lovely creamy patina to the hands and indices. 

It has a stunning black dial that is very unique and really stands out in a crowd. The dial is in excellent condition. Only one or two very small spots on the dial, otherwise it is immaculate.

This is an excellent example of a rare vintage lady Heuer diver that is sure to be a solid investment.

28mm WITHOUT crown and crown guards. This is a women's version and is very small. 

1. The watch case is in nice condition for its age. It doesn't appear to have ever been polished. 

2. The crystal is brand new and scratch free.

3. The bezel insert is in excellent condition especially when considering the age. It has some darkening to the printing which nicely matches the dial. 

4. The crown gasket, crystal gasket and case back gaskets are new. These parts aren't easy to come by so having a case that have been serviced is a huge plus. 
The watch was pressure tested to 30 meters and it passed without issue which should be reassuring to the buyer if they or their significant other will be putting this back into daily use.

5. The automatic movement is original and is running well. There are service marks on the inside of the caseback and based on the way it is running I’d assume it has been overhauled in the past. 

6. The screw down crown is in good working and cosmetic condition (new gasket installed as previous mentioned).

7. Bracelets: The jubilee bracelet is genuine Heuer and is in nice condition. These aren't found together very often and it is the most desirable bracelet for these divers. It will fit up to a 6” wrist without using the wet suit extension.
